Lately I have been reading more cases of suicides and stress management. Human life is same as it was before 100 years but expectations and competition are higher than ever. No one is satisfied and most of the time jealous about others. Well, well…before you leave this post, thinking I am going to analyze the things and current human life, let me stop here 🙂 (btw, I would write on it separately)
Lately, even I have been a victim of stress and most of the times it results into emotional drainage. And after reading so many ways to come out and having advices from different people and most importantly, after observing so many lives around, I was able to point out some factors, which really works as stress buster, no matter what the situation is. So here they are (you are always free to add your in the list and try out the listed one :-))
Just get out : Yes, get out of it, get out of the situation, get out of the scene, get out of the place. When you think it’s really tough to handle your emotions and you will explode, leave the place, people and surrounding. Just walk away, drive away or do anything but get out of the situation.
It will give you a chance to be alone. And most of the time, when we are alone, our mind starts analyzing different events of life and our response to it. In short, the short term loneliness gives you two important things – peace of mind (as you won’t have to face the tough situation) and time (time to re-think about everything, time to think how to correct the situation)
Do not wait : Do not wait for tomorrow. Most of us wait for better tomorrow, for better family condition, better health condition, better financial condition, better LIFE……believe me life never waits. It flows and so should we. Flow with time. Don’t wait for better days because no one knows future. What if there would be an earth quake and all of us won’t be here? In short, think everyday as last day on this earth. Laugh, learn, smile, hug, love and enjoy like anything. Tomorrow is unknown and yesterday is not in our order, so only option remains is TODAY. Make today better and always hope for better tomorrow :-).
Love yourself : In any case, we love our existence on this earth and no one other than us has right to reverse it. If we want to see / experience more love, the first step is always – we need to love ourselves.
When ever in tough situation, chant a magic mantra 🙂 – I love myself. Chant this sentence for 25 times and you will feel that magic. Situation will automatically change or atleast you will feel so and that’s enough for time being. Human life is an auspicious gift, which every creature on the earth could not get. So you are special. Enjoy being special and never think about shortening it.
Love little and simple things : Why do we feel better when we show off that we can spend more money for luxuries, can travel around the world, can have branded outfits and shoes? Does it make us better human? NO. Then why to feel proud? Why to show off?
Human is a community just like any other community like animals, birds……Have you ever observed how a monkey helps other monkey and how a lion never attacks lion? Ever community on this earth follows the life cycle. We human are the only one who love to hurt other humans. Tomorrow, when you will be on death bed, you will never remember how much money you have in the locker. You will only remember how you enjoyed and lived the precious gift – LIFE.
To enjoy life fully and to avoid regret on death bed, start enjoying little things about life. Enjoy a little walk with hubby, play with a kid for 10 minutes, smile to a stranger, help a stranger and be thankful for everything you have. Because there are millions of people around who do not have even these luxuries. Be happy and spread happiness.
Bigger picture : what if today someone said something wrong about you, what if someone you loved the most turned away, what if you failed the life depending exam, what if you married to a wrong person and what if you are surrounded by wrong people? Time flows and life too. Everything in life has been planned so well that there is no chance that anything can go wrong. If anything is wrong is our disability to not accept or see the bigger picture. Today is tomorrow’s past.
Sit for 10 minutes and close your eyes. Re-live any 5 years of life and think how they shaped up your today. Everything happens for good only and to allow us to move ahead in life. Just don’t think about wrong things in life, think about how it will help you to move ahead. Everyone on this earth goes through a cycle where happiness and struggle comes up turn by turn. Struggle makes up more mature about out decision, teaches about how we should handle the life and shows how true people are always with us, no matter what situation is. So accept the situation and grow.
